REASONS TO READ THE KING JAMES BIBLE
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away” (Luke 21:33). And since He promised that none of His words would pass away until all be fulfilled and since all have not yet been fulfilled, I must believe that He has preserved all of His words so that I have them available to me today in a form that I can readily access. I do not have to wait for scholars to scientifically reconstruct them by sorting through all the old manuscripts trying to decide which word is correct and which word is in error.	Today, there are many different English translations of the Bible. There are close to 300 complete English translations of the New Testament and at least 23 abridged New Testaments. There are more than 135 English translations of the complete Bible with close to 100 abridged Bibles. Each version has added or subtracted from the original King James Version. Do you think God made us wait all these years to get a correct version of His word?	God made four gospels. A doctrine needs to be there several times to prove its authenticity. You cannot proof text when you have only one bible verse. If you were leaning on a table and someone removed one of the legs, it would be unstable. If your employer omitted fifteen days pay from your salary, protest would ensue, yet the NIV's fifteen omitted verses do not raise an eyebrow. (Matt. 17:21; 18:11; 23:14; Mark 7:16; 9:44, 46; 11:26; 15:28; Luke 17:36; 23:17; John 5:4; Acts 8:37; 24:7; 28:29; Romans 16:24, just like the NWT!) If you went outside and found that someone had stolen one of the tires from your car, you would strongly object. Why are some Christians reluctant to object when words and verses are removed from their bibles. Luke 12:34 says tellingly, "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
